Festilflix hosts a special film screening every month, offering filmmakers from around the world the opportunity to showcase their work. Our monthly schedule allows filmmakers to get timely feedback, and fast notifications about official selection. This special monthly screening is produced by Chandler International Film Festival.

 

We screen 60 minutes of short films followed by a selected 60 minute Feature Short. We also host a Q&A with filmmakers able to attend. 

 

At each event, two films will be selected to win either one of our awards:
 

The People’s Choice Award 
The Directors Choice Award
 

Films included in the first half of the event are nominated for 'The People's Choice Award’. Audiences on the night of the screening vote for their favorite short, then the votes are calculated collectively from all of our venues.
 

In the second half of the night, we host our 'Feature Short'. This is our headlining film of the night and is no longer than 60 minutes. The film is selected for ‘The Directors Choice Award’  by a panel of judges prior to the screening event.
