Chandler Multicultural Festival

Each January, Chandler sponsors the Multicultural Festival, in association with the Celebration of Unity,

to highlight the cultural diversity of our community through music, dance, art, storytelling and more.

This event is part of Chandler’s Annual Celebration of Unity events scheduled for the month of January.

As a joint collaboration between Chandler Men of Action, East Valley Jewish Community Center,

Chandler Center for the Arts, Friends of the Library, Human Relations Commission and the City of Chandler,

we are proud to present an extensive variety of community events

The annual Chandler Multicultural Festival has teamed up with the Chandler International Film Festival to bring you a collaborative and eclectic weekend of international films, cultural performances, food and beverage vendors, and fun for the family. As the Multicultural Festival comes to an end at 7:10 p.m., the Chandler International Film Festival will then take over and present a series of short films out on the lawn for festival-goers to enjoy. Films will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.

This is an outdoor event. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs as you join us for an amazing evening!

For information on the event or to become a performance, food or merchandise vendor contact priscilla.quintana@chandleraz.gov.

Event History:
In 1995, the Friends of the Chandler Public Library established the Chandler Multicultural Festival to bring the community together for a fun-filled day of art, music, and dance while also learning a little more about the rich cultural diversity that exists in our community. The festival has grown into a signature event for the City and offers a quality arts experience in the comfortable setting of the downtown Chandler Public Library!

The Multicultural Festival is a part of the Celebration of Unity annual events held each January to honor our community's heritage and diversity, along with the spirit and ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and the civil rights movement.
